Kofi S. Latzoo is a creative director and designer specializing in graphic design, video games and fashion. For the past 10 years, he has been technical and artistic director of pioneering communication media in the banking, fashion, mining and NGO sectors in Senegal, West Africa. His skills in the design, pedagogy and management of technological communities have enabled him to be selected by NASA to lead its innovation and civic incubation program focused on the use of open data called Nasa Spaceapps Challenge in Senegal since 2014. In 5 years, his leadership has helped develop the world's most creative government innovation brand with several awards such as the OpenGov Award 2014 and the MadewithUnity Award 2017, to expand its ecosystem to countries such as Togo, Algeria and Gabon. The Nasa spaceapps Challenge is the world's largest citizen science hackathon with the participation of 200 cities over 2 days, an initiative of the technological leadership of President Barack Obama's 100 Actions. He is a bilingual international speaker and event organizer on the theme of creative industries, video game sector. Pioneer in the field of video games and esport in Senegal, Togo and Guinea Conakry since 2012. He currently advises companies, NGOs and governments on the African video game industry as a certified gamification consultant by the German International Development Cooperation (GIZ) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation (BMZ).
Kofi is also the founder of the first 360 communications agency dedicated to Africa's gaming industry, called Gamecampcities the 360 Gaming Agency, which collaborates with brands such as Coca Cola, the Alibaba Group (WESG & Alibaba Cloud), the Global Game Jam (World Guinness Record edition Gamer 2017), UBA Bank, and the University of Dallas, Texas as a research collaborator. In 2018, Kofi began teaching Design + Esport as a part-time professor at the Grande Ecole de Commerce Kedge in France. The KEDGE course has been named by Forbes as one of the best entrepreneurship courses in the world. The Bordeaux Campus, where kofi is leading an innovative training on Esport with co-speakers' profiles from ESL, the Alibaba group, the television channel Arte and Sony Music France is an investment of 11 million Euros.
